A Liga Forte Futebol já conseguiu a aprovação de 24 dos 26 clubes que formam o bloco para a assinatura de contrato com a gestora brasileira Life Capital Partners e a norte-americana Serengeti Asset Management.

O acordo pode chegar a US$ 950 milhões caso haja a adesão dos 40 clubes das Séries A e B do Brasileirão para a formação da liga brasileira de futebol.

Em troca, Life Capital e Serengeti ficariam com 20% dos direitos comerciais da competição por um período de 50 anos.

As exceções no Forte Futebol são Internacional, cujo Conselho Deliberativo irá votar o assunto na semana que vem, e o ABC, que estaria com problemas jurídicos internos para aprovar o acordo.

Blocos

Atualmente, os times brasileiros estão divididos em dois grandes grupos: LFF e Liga do Futebol Brasileiro (Libra).

Atualmente, a LFF conta com 26 clubes das Séries A, B e C do Brasileiro.

São eles: ABC, Athletico-PR, Atlético-MG, América-MG, Atlético-GO, Avaí, Brusque, Chapecoense, Coritiba, Ceará, Criciúma, CRB, CSA, Cuiabá, Figueirense, Fluminense, Fortaleza, Goiás, Internacional, Juventude, Londrina, Náutico, Operário-PR, Sport, Vila Nova e Tombense. 

Já a Libra é integrada por 18 equipes da primeira e segunda divisão do país: Bahia, Botafogo, Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Grêmio, Guarani, Ituano, Mirassol, Novorizontino, Palmeiras, Ponte Preta, Red Bull Bragantino, Sampaio Corrêa, Santos, São Paulo, Vasco e Vitória.

O Botafogo-SP, que disputará a segunda divisão do Brasileirão em 2023, é o único clube das Séries A e B que ainda não aderiu a nenhum dos dois grupos.

Adesão

O último clube a aprovar a proposta da Serengeti foi o Atlético-MG, cujo Conselho Deliberativo votou o tema na última segunda-feira à noite (3), com aprovação unânime.

A votação dos conselheiros aconteceu após as falas de Sérgio Coelho, presidente do clube mineiro; Fred Luz, diretor da Alvarez & Marsal; e Guilherme Ávila, da XP Investimentos, ambas contratadas como consultoras da LFF.

Racha

Caso seja confirmada a adesão dos 26 times da LFF ao contrato com Life Capital e Serengeti, é esperado que em até 60 dias os clubes comecem a receber.

Um total de R$ 1,1 bilhão será pago aos times, o que corresponde a 50% do valor acordado pela adesão de parte dos times da primeira e segunda divisões.

 Ainda há a expectativa de que Libra e LFF possam se unir para a formação da liga.

A Libra já tem proposta da Mubadala Capital, que ofereceu US$ 900 milhões para adquirir 20% dos direitos comerciais pelo período de 50 anos.

Para isso, porém, quer a participação dos 40 times da primeira e segunda divisão no acordo.

Com a união de todos, seria possível vender vários ativos do campeonato, como os naming rights e patrocínios do torneio, direitos de transmissão de toda a liga para as diversas plataformas (TV aberta, fechada e streaming) no Brasil e no exterior, produtos licenciados da liga, direitos de imagem para filmes e séries, álbum de figurinhas, NFTs, fan tokens, entre outros ativos.

Caso haja a assinatura com as duas investidoras, seria necessário realizar uma composição entre as empresas, algo que o contrato da LFF com a Life Capital e Serengeti admite.

A Mubadala, porém, quer ser sócia exclusiva da liga, o que pode aprofundar o racha na liga.

Retomada

Afastados há alguns meses, os dois grupos voltaram a se reunir na terça-feira da semana passada (28 de março), quando houve encontro de dirigentes em São Paulo.

Segundo a Máquina do Esporte apurou, porém, nenhuma nova planilha de divisão de receitas foi apresentada, o que inviabilizou os avanços das discussões.

Há a expectativa de que haja nova reunião aconteça nesta semana, também em São Paulo. Embora ainda haja desacordo grande sobre a remuneração de cada clube, o simples fato de os cartolas de Libra e LFF voltarem a conversar já foi considerado um avanço entre as partes.

Liga Forte Futebol has already obtained the approval of 24 of the 26 clubs that form the block for the signing of a contract with the Brazilian manager Life Capital Partners and the North American Serengeti Asset Management.

The agreement could reach US$ 950 million if the 40 clubs from the Séries A and B of the Brasileirão join to form the Brazilian football league.

In return, Life Capital and Serengeti would own 20% of the competition's commercial rights for a period of 50 years.

Crack

If the adhesion of the 26 LFF teams to the contract with Life Capital and Serengeti is confirmed, it is expected that within 60 days the clubs will start receiving.

A total of BRL 1.1 billion will be paid to the teams, which corresponds to 50% of the amount agreed for the adhesion of part of the first and second division teams.

  There is still the expectation that Libra and LFF can come together to form the league.

Libra already has a proposal from Mubadala Capital, which offered US$ 900 million to acquire 20% of commercial rights for a period of 50 years.

With the union of all, it would be possible to sell several assets of the championship, such as the naming rights and sponsorship of the tournament, transmission rights of the entire league for the different platforms (open, closed and streaming TV) in Brazil and abroad, licensed products of the league, image rights for movies and series, sticker album, NFTs, fan tokens, among other assets.

If there is a signature with the two investors, it would be necessary to carry out a composition between the companies, something that the LFF contract with Life Capital and Serengeti admits.

Mubadala, however, wants to be an exclusive partner in the league, which could deepen the rift in the league.

Resumption

Separated for a few months, the two groups met again on Tuesday of last week (March 28), when there was a meeting of directors in São Paulo.

According to Máquina do Esporte, however, no new revenue sharing spreadsheet was presented, which made progress in the discussions unfeasible.

There is the expectation that there will be a new meeting to take place this week, also in São Paulo. Although there is still great disagreement about the remuneration of each club, the simple fact that Libra and LFF top hats are talking again has already been considered a breakthrough between the parties.
